'Lamina' is a proof of concept sculpt produced by Silverhand and based on a character created by the great comics artist and painter, Mark Beachum. The character, Lamina, created by Mark, was a seriously sexy heroine, and while the series never got published due to some comic world controversies, Mark and I decided to make the figure happen anyway. For both Mark and myself, there is no more worthy subject than the erotic female nude, and that is what we both tend to focus on. I am deeply proud of this both from a technical and design perspective. From the tilt of the head and the flow of the back skin folds, to the awkward grace of her pose, I love to look at this from every angle. In one sixth scale, and mounted on a felted wooden base, this one is perfection, and if you buy no other figure sculpture this year, I humbly suggest you buy this one while it is still available.
All figures have an acrylic base paint finished with blended oils for long term vibrancy of the colour finish.
