With this figure I tried to evoke the slightly sleazy underground and fleshy feel of fifties American smut. As a sculptor, I like to show the weight of soft, muscular female flesh. The model has a slightly sulky expression as if to say, 'How much longer?' The boots are of the time, and found in much photography of the period. I loved the finished result, and hope you do too.
This figure is made from cast resin on a wooden base. The seat stem and lace tie are made from a metal rod and metal wire respectively.
All figures have an acrylic base paint finished with blended oils for long term vibrancy of the colour finish.
